I was first introduced to yoga as a child through the legacy of my grandmother and mother’s daily practice. After 12 years of self-taught practice, I completed the 200 YTT in Rishikesh in 2015 in India under the tutelage of world renowned teacher yogi Vishvketu in the holistic Hatha Akhanda® method at the World Conscious Family Ashram in Rishikesh.
I teach in awe of the immense power of yoga; its philosophical offerings, the deep tradition of the seeker and particularly how to enter into new fields of perception using meditation. I approach Yoga with curiosity, creativity and joy. I believe in a sustainable and self-compassionate practice that leads to great healing through gratitude. I teach with emphasis on somatic enquiry, feeling subtle sensations, breathe work and visualisation where simple steps invite us towards transformation.
My training in bodywork influences my teaching greatly. I hold foundational training at the London School of Osteopathy, Craniosacral Therapy Levels 1 & 2 from the lol Move On Center in Nepal, a certified ITEC Sports and Massage Diploma and work as a Memory Therapist.
