Blessed Samhain and Happy Halloween!

On the 31st of October, Samhain Eve – also called the Witches New Year – is when the barrier between the worlds is whisper-thin and when magic, old magic, sings its heady and sweet song to anyone who cares to hear it.

Samhain marks the beginning of the winter, it’s the new year and the leaves are falling from the trees, and life is being drawn away from the surface of the earth, descending deep into Mother Earth. This brings restoration and renewal, as the cold closes in, so is the soul led to more reflective depths. It is a time to be present, suspended in the space between past and future. It is here that we listen to the hymn of the crackling fire, rain and wind.

Samhain is a time for remembrance of our ancestors, for honouring those who have gone before us. On this day, the veil between the worlds is at its thinnest, and this means that the spirits easily cross between realms and enter our world. This ceremony is intended to bridge the gap between these worlds, transcending life and death so that for just one evening together, we can share the spark of infinite life.

Join us for an evening of yoga, rituals, prayer, remembrance, meditation, magick and a feast - all in the name of the dead.

We invite you to bring a photograph or anything that resembles a lost loved one (human or pets), though this is optional. Wear comfy clothes, and if you want to bring something that adds to the feast, then all the better!
