S I L E N T · S P A C E – A mini-retreat for the Community
Offer yourself half a day of silence, relaxation and rejuvenation
In November and December Pranama will host S I L E N T · S P A C E as an offering to our community. These mini-retreats are an invitation to take a break from busy life and create a space of rest and rejuvenation while being in community. And as the mini-retreat will only cover half a day, there is still have plenty of time left to enjoy the rest of the weekend!
Each mini-retreat will be inspired by our monthly theme and there will be an opportunity to look a little bit deeper into what is meaningful and important to us. We will use guided meditation and contemplative practices, Yoga (either Yin or gentle Slow Flow or a combination) or gentle movement to facilitate a space of relaxation, rejuvenation and contemplation.
The entire morning will be in silence to reduce external stimuli and give our busy minds a proper break. A few hours of silence so that we can be fully with ourselves while also enjoying each others’ company.
During the breakfast break you are welcome to bring your own food or buy (thorugh Swish) some of the delicious breakfast goodies our lovely Lise-Lott Bergsman (www.rawlicious.se) will provide.
Everyone is welcome! No prerequisites, just the willingness and openness to give yourself a treat surrounded by members of the wider community.
The mini-retreats will be facilitated by Katharina,
09.00 – 10.30: Silence starts. Welcome, short guided meditations & contemplation
10.30 – 11.00: Breakfast break in silence
11.00 – 12.30: Yoga (Yin or Slow Flow and/or Yoga Nidra)
12.30 – 13.00: Closing meditation and words. Silence ends.

What does it mean to be a soul of spirit in this human body? And how can we continuously and increasingly give space to the divine impulse as it wants to manifest through our existence on mother Earth?
These questions have intuitively been with Katharina for a long time and became more clear, tangible and “workable” through the discovery of Yoga and meditation. In her own practice as well as in her teaching she is guided by these questions in a heart-felt, gentle and devoted way. Her classes carry the invitation to uncover ways in which we prevent ourselves from fully discovering and being of service to our True Nature and its full expression.
Katharina has a background of over 500 hours in traditional tantric Hatha Yoga, Advaita Vedanta and non-dual teachings. She has spent dedicated amounts of time with teachers in the lineage of Ramana Maharishi, Buddhism and more modern forms such as the Integral Theory movement, embodied awakening and mindfulness. Her Yogic path led her to Embodied Yin™ and the Embodied Flow™ tribe in which she has not only found a home of like-minded practitioners and teachers but also an amazing technology to integrate body, mind and the spiritual quest.
Her biggest passion is Yoga Nidra, the auspicious practice of conscious Yogic sleep meditation. By now you can also find some of her recorded work on Insight Timer.
